These Alice clones present the failure of Susie’s voice acting career in the studio, hence why they constantly speak and quote Alice, or say things to demean her, to bring down Susie as they move to attack her. Standard Alices appear the most like their counterpart, though still clearly off-model. They speak, they laugh, they sing the songs of the toon they are meant to be, all to mock their prey. They are the most talkative, constantly speaking as they wander after Susie if she tries to escape from them. The Standard Alices are puddle dwellers, who will make their appearance to Susie with clear dialogue. It creates for an unsettling problem if they are not taken care of fast enough, as they will just keep talking, even with their skulls cracked open, or even their jaws being nearly removed.Īdditionally when hurt these Alice clones spew out ink which when they’ve formed large enough puddles, have the potential to spawn new ink enemies. If damage is taken to the head, they will continue to speak, but every strike will cause words to slur, their ‘dialogue’ becomes more and more deranged and will start to become pure nonsense. Unless dispatched with extreme brutality these clones will never stop their dogged pursuit of their prey.ĭepending on where the Alice clones take damage, they can be defeated through one good swing, or multiple. When hit these Alice clones will clutch at themselves and whimper, they then will continue to keep moving towards Susie whilst speaking with increasingly slurred words as they are hit again and again before finally falling apart. These Alice clones are almost as scared and confused as Susie is however this doesn’t stop them from attacking her. These abominations birthed from the machine are now incapable of reason and logic, instead compelled by the subtle influence of the ink machine to rip apart anything they deem a threat. The angelic brood are the most common toon monsters found within the Twisted halo au, this menagerie of angelic toons are comprised of failed test subjects and post studio downfall offspring of the dreaded ink machine. “Suuusiiieeee Suuusiiieeee I thought you liked me Susieeee, I thought you liked me… I thought we were going to be something special Susie, now look at me Susie, Look at me” I’m sure it’s also a nice way for new and old players alike who never had a halo, to be able to kinda have one, which I think is another reason they’re a thing now.Twisted Halo deepdive #2: The angelic brood If it was a real halo, it’d come from the fountain- along with other features to match what the other magical halos have. It’s just referencing that kind of Christmas Angel, and again- just a prize from the calendar. To me, Angel halo is just a costume/freebie “halo” that is simply happens to be a good prize if you complete the calendar for Christmas, as an Angel is connected to Christmas a lot of the time for religious people. It’s likely next year Angel halo and wings will be back too, since it’s back this year. No other halo comes back from the fountain. Angel halo and Angel wings are coming back when people complete this year’s calendar too, so it will probably lose value by a bit. None of the other halos have (besides Mer19- but I think it was due to other reason obviously) a person wearing it, usually a mannequin.Įven if it was a real halo, it’d be worth much, much less than Spring20. Plus, the picture of the halo doesn’t fit the others, but has a digital drawing of a feminine person wearing it. Since it’s in the hat section too, I wouldn’t think of it as a official halo, even though it is in the halo section too. To explain it in my own words tbh, Angel halo is the costume halo of them. All the other halos are magical halos, and they all float, sparkle, glow, have certain features (like Mer19 has bubbles, and Val19 has petals), and are all from the fountain.Īngel halo doesn’t have any of these features, apart from sparkling I believe. A dev explained it before on Twitter (I don’t remember who, maybe Lance?) and they said it perfectly imo: it’s a halo, but not a magical one. It’s not a official halo, it’s been confirmed too.
